Phillip Patterson Painting was proud to have painted "The Green Monster" - a set of stairs that was used as part of the challenging 2007 US GranPrix of Cyclocross course at River Road Country Club in Louisville. The Green Monster was one of the stand-out features of the course that was the talk of the series.

Phillip Patterson Painting, Inc. believes in giving back to the community.  One of the causes that has drawn most of our time and resources is the MS150.

In 1996, Phil’s wife, Dot, was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.  In 1999, they found out about the MS150 bike tour.  Since then, Phil has supported this annual event by riding and raising money. The MS150 is a 150-mile ride through the state with the goal of raising money to support research to find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis.  Phil and Dot had a long string of successes as the leading fundraisers, and in 2005 formed TeamDotLouisville to participate in the ride.  Since their involvement began, together with their team, they have raised over $250,000 for MS research.

Phil and Dot also work with other teams and riders to get them enthused and excited about raising money for this vital research.

Phillip Patterson Painting donates all the costs associated with Phil’s fundraising.  It is quite an undertaking, usually requiring lots of postage and printing costs, as well as over one hundred hours of time from start to finish each year.
